User, Sam Flynn, escaped the grid to the real world and Kevin Flynn destroyed Clu and his Carrier. The grid has become still, without a master it will not function correctly. Many have stood up to the plate but without anyone to choose, the grid has become chaotic with separate leaders and programs splitting up into groups, it needs one individual who can stand up above the rest and maintain the order of the grid.

-Several days later-

A lone defense program washes up off grid and with no memory of who he is. He gets spotted by a team of off grid recon programs that are with Zeus. He gets picked up and brought to Zeus' headquarters.

The lone amnesiac program struggles in the arms of the recon programs.

"W-Where are you taking me? Where am I!?"

"You are off grid. We are taking you in for further analysis."
Two programs with white suits and blue lines stuff the lone program in the light crusier and take off.
the passenger looks at the loner.
"What is your name program?"

"I ...can't remember..."

The disheveled program tries his best to come up with an answer but simply pull up the information.

"..."

"odd..."
he turns back and they continue driving. After a while, they get into the city and to a large tower. The two programs pull the loner out of the crusier and bring him into the tower.

another program walks past him as he enters. Hers eyes meets with his as she leaves and he gets pulled in. The two programs bring him to an elevator and press a button to call it.

Still trying desperately to regain his memories, the amnesiac program soaks in his surroundings.

"This is..."

The view from the elevator revealed Tron City, in all its illuminating glory, before the program's eyes.

"...The city..."

the elevator goes up for a long time until it reaches its stop at the top of the tower. the two programs push the lone program into the room and the doors close. they stayed in the elevator. a female program behind a desk calls for the program.

The program approaches the desk.

"...Can you please help me?"

His face was helpless and full of fear. The frustration from not having his memories left him in helpless in the cruel grips of the Grid.

"Please, I'm begging you!"

she does not look at him.
"please step into the door to your right."
he hand points to a door.

-meanwhile-
a program watches on camera the lone program near the desk. This programs face is ruined, burned almost.
"zuse!"
he turns around.
"we are 80% sure that he is the one."

"good. Lets make that 100% shall we?"

"This place..."

He looks at the door at the right, seeing the guards forcibly pushing other programs into a corridor. They we're all lined up single-file, with guards closely watching them.

"...I don't like it."

The amnesiac programs marches towards the line of programs.

one by one the programs enter the room, until the lone program enters. It is a dark room with two platforms on each side. One program is standing on one platform.
"so your next? This should be easy..."
he holds his disk in excitement.

"Next? I do not know what you mean by that."

The amnesiac program sees the other program's disk spark with light.

he grunts as he releases his disk.
it flies to the ceiling, bounces, and flies towards the lone program.

Instinctively, the lone program dodge rolls forward.

"What the hell are you doing!?"

His hands begin to shake as they grip the cold circuit floor.

"nice act...but im not gunna fall for it!"
the disc flies back to the program, when he catches it he spins around and releases it from his grip. the disk hits one of the sidewalls, bounces and flies towards the lone program.
